• Service Manual Delivery Procedure Update
  
  

  We have added a new feature to the delivery procedure. When payment is completed through our payment processor PayPal, you will be automatically redirected back to our site and logged in, as well as presented with your download link - no waiting for your download information email. You will also receive a download information email from us if you wish to download from another computer. If payment is made using eCheck, your order will still have to be manually processed - the funds do not actually clear for a few days.

• What is the service manual ordering procedure, and how will I get my manual after payment is made?
  
  

  PayPal:
  
  When payment is received by our system, a Receipt email containing the download link / username / password will be sent automatically to your PRIMARY PayPal email account (PayPal security function - no way to get around this). You can log into your PayPal account to check to make sure of your PRIMARY email address - click on "Profile" => "email" => your primary account will be listed here. This email is automatically sent by our system immediately upon confirmation of payment - typically this occurs within 5 minutes of payment. If, for some reason, you can not access that email account to receive the email from us, or the Receipt email has not arrived within 1 hour, please and we will resend the Receipt email.
  
  Western Union:
  
  We also accept Western Union Money Transfers (US $5.00 surcharge will be applied to order total due to additional costs we incur for this service), however this process is not automatic, and the cart function will not be available. If you wish to make your purchase using Western Union, with your selection and we can proceed from there.

• In what format are the manuals?
  
  Manuals are in Adobe Acrobat file format, which is viewable on Windows, Linux, and Mac Operating Systems, unless otherwise stated. Acrobat Reader (used to view documents of this file format - .pdf) is typically installed on most computers. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer, check Adobe for a free download of Acrobat Reader, which will allow you to view the files. The files may be zipped (compressed) when multiple manuals are included with one item. Once the zip file is downloaded to your computer, it can be unzipped using the built in zip utility included in Windows XP / Vista. If you are using an earlier version of Windows, a free zip utility is available from 7-zip (does not contain spyware).
  
  
  
• How many times can the files I have purchased be downloaded?
  
  You are allowed 4 downloads of the file(s) within 7 days, before the user name and password in your payment confirmation email will expire. If you have any problems downloading, please feel free to
  
  
  
• Do I need to sign up for an account with Service-Docs.com to order a manual?
  
  No account signup is required to order a manual. If you wish to enable saving and loading of shopping cart contents, you will need to sign up for an account.
  
  
  
• Is your checkout system secure?
  
  In the process of ordering a manual, you will click on the "Checkout" button. From there you will leave www.Service-Docs.com and and be transfered via a SSL secure connection to the PayPal site, where your payment is processed. None of your payment information (ie. credit card or bank account information) is seen by www.Service-Docs.com or is ever stored by www.Service-Docs.com on any of our servers.
  
  
  
• Do I need a PayPal account to order a manual?
  
  No, a PayPal account is not required - you will see the following on the PayPal checkout page: "If you do not currently have a PayPal account, click here", where your credit card information can be entered. Payment can also be made via e-check.
  
  
  
• Using your search engine, I can't seem to find what I am looking for.
  
  The best way to locate your manual is to enter the first few characters of the model number (you may also include the manufacturers name to narrow down the results). If you are searching for a Printer, Copier, or Fax service manual, check our Equivalency Tables - you may find an equivalent model. If you still cannot find what you need, please and we will do what we can to locate it for you.
  
  
  
• Can I still purchase and download a manual if I have dial-up Internet?
  
  Yes, but you will want to take into consideration the file size when making your decision to purchase - files larger than 5 MB will take some time to download, due to the limitations of dialup internet. For larger files, consider a free download manager, which should speed up the process and help to resume downloads when your internet connection is interrupted. Note that if the download manager opens several connections to speed up the download, our server will interpret each connection as a download, and you will rapidly hit your 4 download limit. Try to configure download managers to open 1 connection only. If you run into this issue, let us know and we will reenable downloads for you.
